TBMs to Timbuktu: TBM-700 Aircraft

Randy Penner combined his skills at watercolor with his love for aviation for many years. In 2001, Tom's mother asked Randy to paint Mel & Tom's TBM700. He knew that we enjoyed the scenery around Vancouver, so he chose the surroundings appropriately.

The TBM700 from EADS Socata Aircraft is a single engine turboprop with a pressurized cabin.
Engine:Pratt & Whitney PT6A-64 turbine with 1,570 shp., flat-rated to 700 shp.
Propeller:Hartzell, metal, four-blade, constant-speed, full-feathering, reversible, 91 in. diameter.
Maximum ramp weight:6,614 lbs.
Useful load:2,367 lbs.
Maximum useable fuel:281.62 gals. or 1,886.85 lbs.
Payload with full tanks:480 lbs.
Certified ceiling:30,000 ft. The cabin will be at 8,850 ft., since the maximum pressure differential is 6.2 psi.
Maximum cruising speed:300 kts. with a fuel flow of 55 gph.
Seating:six seats, with an optional seventh seat.
